Greetings from the inaugural Hobbylink International shop newsletter! We’ve been going strong for a few years, but alas, never bothered to create one of these – better late than never, eh? So, let’s dive into the latest updates and future shenanigans.
Firstly, we’ve just welcomed kits from a fresh Chinese company, ZimiModel. Fancy a gander at their creations? Click here. Zimi now owns KittyHawk and Panda molds and whispered in our ear that they’ll kick off production later this year. So fingers crossed, by year’s end, we’ll be graced with KittyHawk and Panda kits in our beloved shop.
We’re piecing together our own server to host the sites, after years of company-hopping. We’ve had our share of problems, issues, and “could’ve been betters.” So, we’re building a server to cut costs and boost reliability – fingers crossed for a year-end launch!
Our very own 001 lighting board is back in stock – huzzah! But the worldwide processor shortage remains a thorn in our side, severely cramping our style in production. Fear not! We’ve got plans for a third-gen board lineup, keeping things user-friendly and wallet-happy.
