Over the years, model kits based on figures from the classic Japanese manga and anime science fiction media franchise Mobile Police Patlabor have come out from Bandai and Good Smile Company. Both have put out 1:60 scale kits. Now Aoshima is throwing its hat into the ring with larger, new-tooled models! The first in their three kits series is the Mobile Police Patlabor AV-98 Ingram Unit 1 (kit number MP-01).
- 1:43 scale – about 190 mm (7.48031 inches) tall when assembled
- Multiple points of articulation allows for posing of completed model
- Five different wrist parts are included
- Cockpit can open and close – scale Izumi Noa character included to fit inside
- Revolver pistol, police baton, and anti-riot shield parts included
- Right-leg calf hatch assembly can open and close, and revolver pistol can be placed inside
- Face shield part included
- Water slide decal sheet included
- Parts molded in color
- 7700 yen (currently about $68.00 U.S.D.) MSRP
