The 2022 Star Wars Group Build – Darth Vader Tie Fighter

This is my build of the 1/72 Darth Vader’s Tie from Fine Molds. For the main color of the ship, I’ve primed the model black, then airbrushed Vallejo Model Air Light Gray, leaving some shadows to make the details “pop”. For the solar panels, I’ve brushed on some flat black, and for the darker grey, I’ve used Vallejo Model Air Dark Sea Grey.
I’ve also modified the base so I could mount the ship on a clear acrylic rod rather than the mounting system included in the kit.
