Matthew Beikes has entered his build in the 2021 SciFiantasy Annual Halloween Group Build. Matt built the Phantom Of The Opera kit and here is what he had to say about it.
This is my first time entering a group build although I have wanted to for a long time. I have built the classic The Phantom of The Opera from Atlantis Models. I remember watching this as a kid and loving it!
I decided to make this the “glow” version with a little nod to the Andrew Lloyd Weber version.
I trimmed the hair off the mask to give it more of the “modern” Phantom look. I used mostly
“rattle can” Krylon paints to achieve the style I wanted with the tux and cape. I added moss to the model to give it more of a creepy dungeon feel. All in all, this was a fun build.
